How do I
upload my Web site?
To upload your website you will need an FTP Program.
If you do not have an FTP program, there are several available from www.shareware.com.
Cute FTP and WS-FTP are two popular and easy to use programs.
You
will need to set up your FTP program to upload your files to our server. There
will be some questions that you have to answer, which are listed below. Some programs
need more information than this, some need less, and some will use different terms
than the ones used here.
The
site you need to connect to is:
ftp.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with the domain name that you
have).

If you want to upload a site before your domain name is hosted on our servers,
please contact support to find
out the temporary address you can use to upload.
The
path to your URL is:
/
You
will need a username and password. These will have been sent to you via e-Mail.
You
will need a local folder. This is where you keep your web pages on your computer
to edit them.
You
may be asked for a port number. This should be set to 21. You may also be asked
to select "transfer type" - the options being Binary or Ascii. Use Autoselect
where possible.
Login
type is "Normal"
You
will now be able to upload and download files.
